Sunday in the park taking action as the world turns upside down yet again
It was easy to do on my mobile, sitting in the peaceful park under a clear sky. Families were strolling. Kids were laughing.
I find my favorite candidate running for office and donate $20.20.
I email my local food pantry to ask what assistance I might be able to offer.
I contact the local Big Brother Big Sisters office and ask if they need mentors.
I email my mayor and ask what volunteer opportunities might exist.
I visit the nearby homeless shelter’s website to learn how I donate clothing.
I get Amazon to deliver pudding to a young friend having a tough time.
I formulate an op-ed in my head as I relax and count my blessings.
